Your role at work, as one page. Claude writes it by interviewing you, and reads it every time it helps you.

What it is#
About is the last entry in the sidebar, at /about. It is one page about your job: your title, your team, your organisation, and what your role is for, in a few short paragraphs. A new app shows an example role, a customer success manager at Brightlane, until Claude writes yours.
About is how Claude knows who you are. With it, Claude can suggest columns that fit your work, draft tasks in your words and tell a customer from a colleague.
What you see#
The page title is your job title, with your role under it as plain text. You cannot edit About on screen: Claude writes it, and only by asking you. It never fills it in from guesses or from documents on its own.
| Goes in About | Stays out |
|---|---|
| Your job title, team and organisation | Targets and other numbers: those go in Goals |
| What your role is for | Lists of names: those go in People |
| Who you work with, in general terms | To-dos: those go in Tasks |
| What you are focused on now | Private details about you or anyone else |
Prompts to try#
“Interview me to fill in About. Ask one question at a time, in plain words. When you have enough, show me the draft before you write it.”
“Update About: I now also look after our partners in Germany.”
“Based on my About page, which three columns would be most useful in a module for the customers I look after?”
Where it lives#
app/data/about.md: a short page with your title, team and organisation at the top, then your role as prose.
